Odaily reports that according to crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) of the United States has sent a letter to Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott and senior member Elizabeth Warren, expressing support for the latest version of the CLARITY Act.

FOP stated that the revised Section 10604 of the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act (BRCA) has resolved its previous concerns regarding law enforcement authority, and the relevant clause will not restrict law enforcement officers' ability to investigate illegal activities related to digital assets. FOP represents over 382,000 law enforcement officers.

However, Eleanor Terrett pointed out that the BRCA portion in the latest version of the CLARITY Act has not actually been modified, so it is still unclear what specific "revised language" the FOP is referring to.
