Dow Jones2026/07/23 22:46Intel joins Google parent Alphabet in lifting its capital expenditures outlook for the year, highlighting the heavy costs of the artificial-intelligence infrastructure buildout that have got Wall Street worried. The company said it now expects more than $20 billion in capital expenditures this year, "up significantly versus our expectations entering the year," CFO David Zinsner says on a call with analysts. Intel is also expecting 2027 capital expenditures to be even higher as it rushes to meet customer demand, Zinsner says.
