With a floating profit of approximately $204,900, a Bitcoin whale diversifies into CXMT
Odaily reported, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, the whale 0x004e that had focused all its trades on BTC for more than three months has, for the first time today, moved beyond the crypto market and turned to Changxin Memory Technologies (CXMT).
This whale began to open CXMT short positions in batches at noon. As of press time, it holds 500,000 CXMT shorts with 2x isolated margin, with a position value of approximately $3.533 million and an average opening price of $7.47.
As CXMT dipped to $7.0669, this short position has already gained an unrealized profit of about $204,900, with a return of approximately 10.96%. The liquidation price is $13.58, and the address has allocated about $3.599 million in margin to the isolated position. There are currently no pending unfilled orders.
In terms of market performance, CXMT is currently quoted at $7.06, maintaining a 24-hour gain of 15.7%. At a USD/RMB rate of 6.7939, this corresponds to about 48.01 yuan.
Historical trading records show that this whale has only traded BTC in the past three plus months. This is its first recent involvement in stock contracts. It currently still holds BTC short positions with 40x leverage, totaling $6.6 million.
