Hyperliquid open interest reaches a new high in 2026 at $11.5 billion
According to Foresight News, as reported by unfolded, Hyperliquid's average weekly open interest (OI) has reached a new high since 2026, hitting $11.5 billion, a significant increase from approximately $5 billion in February. Among this, the HIP-3 stock contract size is close to $4 billion, mainly focused on the S&P 500, with SK Hynix and Micron dominating AI-related trading. The platform's growth is no longer solely driven by crypto perpetual contracts.
