Chip stocks drag emerging market equities to their lowest level since April
Odaily reported that the decline in Asian technology stocks has pushed emerging market benchmark indices to their lowest levels in three months, but falling oil prices have helped European stock markets and currencies avoid a sell-off. As of 16:00 (UTC+8), the MSCI Emerging Markets Index had dropped 3.6%, marking its largest single-day decline since the end of June and its weakest level since April.
