Glonghui, July 29|SK hynix announced plans to significantly expand HBM4 high-bandwidth memory production capacity in the second half of 2026. The company has signed long-term chip supply agreements (LTAs) with 10 major industry clients. DRAM shipments in Q3 2026 are expected to increase by approximately 10% compared to Q2. NAND flash shipments in Q3 2026 are expected to grow slightly compared to Q2, with an increase in the low single digits (1%~4%). The long-term supply agreements feature differentiated pricing mechanisms, with prices varying based on customer type and chip product characteristics, designed to mitigate sharp cyclical volatility in storage prices. These long-term supply agreements will significantly enhance order and demand certainty for the company over the medium and long term.
