SK Hynix Q2 Operating Profit at 60.54 Trillion Won, Missing Estimate of 64.22 Trillion Won

On July 29, SK Hynix reported a second-quarter operating profit of 60.54 trillion won, missing the estimate of 64.22 trillion won. Second-quarter revenue came in at 79 trillion won, below the forecast of 84 trillion won. The average selling price (ASP) of DRAM chips rose approximately 30% quarter-over-quarter in Q2, while the ASP of NAND flash memory increased by about 50% to 55% from the previous quarter.
