Gelonghui, July 29 — Avis shares plunged more than 15% pre-market, trading at $140.9. Avis reported second quarter earnings per share of $0.98, significantly below analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.8, and quarterly revenue of $2.998 billion, below analysts’ expectation of $3.101 billion.
