Kering's Print Reinforce the Company's Turnaround Journey -- Market Talk
Dow Jones2026/07/29 05:180517 GMT - Kering's results reinforce its gradual recovery, Citi's Thomas Chauvet and Alberto Cecchetto say. The French luxury company posted revenue of 3.65 billion euros for the second quarter, up 1% in reported terms compared with the year-earlier period. Recurring operating income was flat on year at 921 million euros. Importantly, the group flagged improving trends at its flagship brand Gucci, which is in the midst of a turnaround strategy under renewed management and creative team. The print reaffirms its gradual recovery path focused on revenue growth and margin expansion this year, they say. Citi confirms its neutral rating on the stock. The analysts expect shares to react positively. (andrea.figueras@wsj.com)
