(1) The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) in the UAE continues to export liquefied natural gas from its Persian Gulf facility, despite regional conflicts forcing producers to restrict transportation through the Strait of Hormuz. (2) According to ship data, an empty LNG carrier owned by Adnoc appeared in the Persian Gulf on Wednesday. This voyage is unusual, as visible traffic in the strait has mostly ceased since a Qatari LNG vessel was attacked earlier this month. (3) Meanwhile, satellite images show ongoing cargo shipments, with an oil tanker docked at the Das Island export terminal in the UAE on Friday. These developments indicate that despite US-Iran peace talks breaking down and tankers being attacked near the strait, fuel exporters are still striving to keep shipping operations running normally.
