Foresight News: The American Arbitration Association (AAA) has launched a specialized Web3 arbitration panel, focusing on disputes related to smart contracts, blockchain, digital assets, tokenization, decentralized systems, agent commerce, and autonomous transactions. Eric Dill, Chief Personnel Officer and Head of Panel Relations at AAA, stated that as emerging technologies become increasingly integrated into business operations, all parties require dispute resolution processes that offer reliable management, technical expertise, and practical case-handling abilities.

The panel’s initial members include Kabir Duggal, partner at Akin Gump, David L. Evans, counsel at Murphy & King, David A. Hoffman, professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Paula Pendley, partner at Nelson Mullins, as well as Rich Widmann, Global Head of Web3 Strategy at Google Cloud, among others, covering experience in law, technology, academia, and digital asset business disputes. AAA stated that as legal, technical, and business issues related to the Web3 ecosystem continue to emerge, the specialized panel will expand accordingly.
