Walmart's acquisition of Vibe approved by the US FTC

Glonghui July 29th｜The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has approved Walmart's early termination of the pre-merger waiting period for its proposed acquisition of Vibe.co. Walmart has agreed to acquire Vibe.co to enhance the functionality of the Walmart Connect platform and to make it easier for small, medium, and mid-market advertisers to buy, target, and measure the effectiveness of streaming TV ads. Although the deal terms were not disclosed, it is estimated that the transaction is valued at approximately $1.41 billion. The two companies expect to complete the transaction by the end of fiscal year 2027, subject to customary regulatory conditions.
