Blackbaud Shares Rise With High End of FY Guidance in Range, CEO Says

Shares of Blackbaud rose after the artificial intelligence-powered solutions company reported that its fiscal 2026 revenue and adjusted earnings per share will finish in the upper half of its guidance, as it logged higher profit and revenue.
The stock was up nearly 21% to $43.41 in recent trading. Despite the intraday gains, shares are down over 31% since the start of the year.
Blackbaud logged profit of $35.4 million, or 79 cents a share, compared with $26.5 million, or 55 cents a share, a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of 71 cents a share.
Adjusted earnings per share were $1.33. Wall Street expected $1.28, according to FactSet.
Revenue rose 3% to $290.6 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $292.2 million.
Chief Executive Mike Gianoni said the company expects to finish in the upper half of its fiscal 2026 guidance ranges for revenue and adjusted earnings per share. He added that the company has aggressively invested in AI, reflected in the accelerating pace of innovation across its Agents for Good solutions.
Blackbaud forecast fiscal 2026 revenue between $1.17 billion and $1.18 billion and adjusted earnings per share between $5.15 and $5.25.
