Bloomberg: Nscale plans to acquire software company Anyscale for $1.65 billion
Foresight News reports, citing Bloomberg and sources familiar with the matter, that cloud service provider Nscale plans to acquire computing software company Anyscale for $1.65 billion. As part of the deal, all of Anyscale's approximately 200 employees will join Nscale. Anyscale completed a funding round in 2022, reaching a valuation of over $1 billion.
Nscale was founded in early 2024 and was formerly a cryptocurrency mining company. Headquartered in London, the company provides AI-dedicated computing capacity leasing services and is developing large-scale data centers, including facilities in Norway and West Virginia. Nscale stated last year that it plans to go public, possibly as early as the second half of 2026.
