According to Odaily, Dragonfly partner Haseeb posted on X, stating that without the development of the crypto industry, the current AI boom might not have emerged. He explained that over the last decade, Bitcoin miners have accumulated valuable experience in electricity acquisition, site selection, and large-scale infrastructure construction in remote regions, which has provided a crucial foundation for the current expansion of AI data centers. At the same time, demand from crypto mining has also helped NVIDIA complete its transformation from a gaming GPU manufacturer to an AI computing chip supplier.

In addition, the core teams at several emerging AI cloud service providers, including CoreWeave, Crusoe, Together AI, and Nscale, all have backgrounds in the crypto industry.
