- April sales rose 10.7% y/y, then cooled to 4% in May, 4.8% in June as higher rates, fuel costs hit demand.
- Discretionary sectors lagged, led by hospitality at 2.1% y/y; mining at 14% y/y, utilities at 13.1% outperformed.
- Jobs growth eased to 3% y/y from 3.3%; wage growth slowed to 2.4% y/y from 2.7%.
- Payment times improved to 22.9 days; late payments narrowed to 6 days, consistent with typical end-of-year patterns.
