Resouro files NI 43-101 technical report for Brazil Tiros titanium, rare earths project
Reuters2026/07/30 02:04- Resouro filed an independent NI 43-101 technical report supporting a preliminary economic assessment for the Tiros titanium and rare earths project in Minas Gerais.
- PEA base case: after-tax NPV (8%) US$714.9 million, IRR 44.2%, payback 1.9 years, 20-year mine life.
- Staged plan centers on a 500,000 tpa starter plant, targeting 9.5 million tonnes of high-grade ROM, under 1% of M&I resources.
- M&I resource cited at 1.4 billion tonnes grading 12% TiO2, 4,000 ppm TREO, 1,100 ppm MREO.
- Report corrected acid reagent consumption, offset by a reagent unit price revision, leaving the previously reported NPV unchanged.
