ING posts 2Q FY26 net result of €1.95 billion, up 16% year-on-year
Reuters2026/07/30 04:59- ING Groep posted 2Q2026 net profit of EUR 1.95 billion, while profit before tax climbed 23% year-on-year to EUR 2.92 billion.
- Fee income rose 14% year-on-year to EUR 1.28 billion, supported by a 377,000 expansion in the mobile primary customer base.
- Net core lending grew EUR 15.2 billion and net core deposits increased EUR 15.9 billion during the quarter.
- Return on tangible equity was 17.0% and the CET1 ratio stood at 13.1%, with an interim cash dividend set at EUR 0.40 per share.
- ING upgraded its 2026-2027 outlook for fees and total income, expecting ROTE above 15% and above 16%, respectively.
