OHB Italia wins ASI contract to develop PRISMA Second Generation Earth observation satellite

- Launch targeted by end-2031, extending Italy’s hyperspectral imaging capability beyond the current PRISMA mission in orbit since 2019.
- Thales Alenia Space Italia to supply the satellite platform as subcontractor; Leonardo to provide the hyperspectral instrument.
