Amsterdam court dismisses Shell damages claim against Celanese
Reuters2026/07/30 10:01- Amsterdam District Court dismissed Shell’s damages claim against Celanese tied to follow-on ethylene litigation stemming from a 2020 EU Commission settlement.
- Court also threw out a Repsol-backed request for a declaratory judgment on liability against Celanese and co-defendants.
- Celanese said it will continue defending remaining related claims in Dutch courts and in Germany.
