Mizuho profit attributable to owners jumps 45.5% year over year to JPY 422.91 billion in FY26 Q1
Reuters2026/07/30 10:22- Mizuho Financial Group posted 1Q fiscal 2026 profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 422.91 billion, up 45.5% year over year.
- Ordinary profits climbed 62.5% to JPY 598.97 billion as ordinary income rose 18.3% to JPY 2.52 trillion.
- Earnings per share increased to JPY 173.53 from JPY 115.90 a year earlier.
- Fiscal 2026 profit attributable to owners of parent forecast was raised to JPY 1.4 trillion from JPY 1.3 trillion.
- Mizuho forecast annual dividends of JPY 150 per share for fiscal 2026, versus JPY 145 in fiscal 2025.
