- Sales climbed 24.21% to USD 3.97 billion from the prior quarter, driven by higher aluminum shipments and pricing.
- Diluted EPS was USD 1.53, down from USD 1.60 in the prior quarter, while income before income taxes slipped to USD 482 million from USD 499 million.
- Aluminum segment adjusted EBITDA rose to USD 1.07 billion from USD 694 million, while the Alumina segment adjusted EBITDA widened to a loss of USD 96 million from a loss of USD 40 million.
- Alcoa agreed to buy South32’s AliGroup assets for USD 3.1 billion cash plus about 17 million shares valued at about USD 1 billion, targeting a first-half 2027 close.
