Jersey Mike's Subs shares fell 6% on their first day of trading on the New York Stock Exchange. That compares with average first-day performance for IPOs of positive 17% this year through July 30 across 80 companies, according to Dealogic. The sandwich chain's IPO priced at $23 per share, which was the midpoint of its marketed range of $21 to $25 per share.
