Reuters2026/07/30 21:54- Vale lifted 2026 iron ore unit cost guidance, with C1 cash cost seen at US$ 22.5-23.5/t versus US$ 20-21.5/t previously.
- All-in iron ore cost forecast rose to US$ 58-62/t from US$ 52-56/t.
- Copper all-in cost outlook improved to US$ 0-500/t from US$ 1,000-1,500/t; nickel to US$ 10,000-11,500/t from US$ 12,000-13,500/t.
- Production guidance increased to 360-380 kt for copper from 350-380 kt; nickel to 185-200 kt from 175-200 kt.
- Assumptions include average USD/BRL 5.13, Brent at US$ 86/bbl, gold at US$ 4,390/troy oz, copper at US$ 13,236/t.
