Spain's current account surplus narrowed significantly to 1.84 billion euros in May, while tourism revenue continued to grow against the trend

(1) Spain's current account surplus in May narrowed sharply from 6.37 billion euros a year earlier to 1.84 billion euros. The goods and services surplus decreased from 8.42 billion euros to 5.74 billion euros. (2) Tourism revenue rose from 6.9 billion euros in the same period last year to 7.6 billion euros. The primary and secondary income deficit widened from 2.05 billion euros to 3.9 billion euros.
