JitTong Finance APP has learned that Danish pharmaceutical giant Novo Nordisk (NVO.US) has suffered a significant R&D setback. On Friday, the company announced that its highly anticipated cardiovascular drug under development, ziltivekimab, failed to meet its primary endpoint in a large-scale late-stage clinical trial. The news caused its stock price to plunge more than 10% intraday.
