Apple (AAPL): Shares fell more than 8% after the iPhone maker's September-quarter outlook fell failed to impress investors.
Universal Music Group (NL:UMG): Shares plummeted more than 23% after the music company reported weaker-than-expected second-quarter results, despite posting growth in subscription revenue.
Amazon (AMZN): Shares jumped nearly 14% after the company reported accelerating cloud-computing sales. It also boosted its capital-spending forecast.
Roblox (RBLX): Shares in the gaming business fell more than 27%. It projected slower revenue growth as it invests in AI and focuses on platform safety.
Brunello Cucinelli (IT:BC): The luxury clothing company's stock rose after it reported strong sales and raised full-year guidance.
Energy companies ExxonMobil (XOM) and Chevron (CVX) and pharmaceutical companies AbbVie (ABBV) and Moderna (MRNA) are among the companies reporting today.
