U.S. Stock Movement | Circle (CRCL.US) drops over 6.8%; the "Clear Act" is not scheduled for Monday's review.
As of press time, the stock has dropped more than 6.8%, trading at $58.34.
According to Jinse Finance, the share price of Circle (CRCL.US) declined on Monday, falling by more than 6.8% to $58.34 at the time of writing. In the news, on August 3, the publicly released Monday agenda of the U.S. Senate showed that the "Clarity Act" was not included in Monday’s deliberation schedule. According to Senate rules, at least 16 senators need to sign a motion to end debate under normal procedures. If the Senate submits a motion to end debate on August 5, the soonest a related vote could take place is August 7. However, this vote would only determine whether to end the discussion on the "motion to proceed" and is not the final passage of the "Clarity Act." If the motion to end debate passes, the Senate would still need to: hold up to 30 hours of discussion on the motion to proceed; formally deliberate the bill; and possibly face another motion to end debate. Therefore, the normal process might not be completed before the recess.
