Resideo to spin off ADI Global Distribution, list shares on NYSE as ADIG
Reuters2026/08/04 10:40- Resideo will spin off its ADI Global Distribution business into a standalone, NYSE-listed distributor focused on low-voltage security and AV products.
- Distribution set for Aug. 3, 2026, 5:00 p.m. ET; holders of Resideo common stock on July 20, 2026 receive 1 ADI share per 2 Resideo shares.
- ADI has applied to list on the NYSE under “ADIG”; Resideo will continue trading under “REZI.”
- Spin-off financing includes about USD 1 billion of new debt; ADI expects to pay a one-time cash dividend of about USD 900 million to Resideo.
- Resideo preferred holders will exchange part of their stake into ADI preferred stock; it carries a 7% dividend rate and an initial conversion price of USD 16.152.
