MDA Space wins $474 million Telesat Lightspeed satellite order expansion

- Order covers 27 additional AURORA broadband satellites for Telesat Lightspeed, raising MDA’s build total to 225 satellites.
- Contract update also adds 500 MHz of military Ka-band capacity to satellites already in production, replacing the same amount of commercial Ka-band.
- Most of the USD 474 million increase is expected to be added to backlog in Q3 2026.
