- Operating profit increased to $276 million from $214 million in 1Q; adjusted EBIT rose to $470 million from $275 million.
- Engineered Materials net sales rose 9% sequentially to $1.45 billion; Acetyl Chain net sales increased 28% to $1.33 billion.
- Celanese completed the Ulsan compounding unit closure and a nylon 6,6 network optimization; 3Q adjusted EPS forecast at $1.35-$1.75.
