- Boosted by gold prices hitting nearly a one-month high, US-listed gold mining stocks collectively rose in pre-market trading.
- Kinross Gold increased by 3.4%, Sibanye Stillwater rose by 2.2%, and AngloGold Ashanti surged by 4.6%.
- Newmont climbed by 3.5%, Gold Fields soared by 5.4%, and Harmony Gold gained 4.6%.
