TBS Holdings Q1 FY27 operating profit drops 43% to JPY 4.62 billion; net sales rise 4.8% to JPY 105.42 billion

- Profit attributable to owners of parent dropped 18.2% to ¥14.49 billion; earnings per share slipped to ¥92.66 from the prior year period.
- Comprehensive income rose more than doubled to ¥504.46 billion, driven by other comprehensive income of ¥490.02 billion.
- It cut its FY2027 outlook to net sales of ¥435 billion and operating profit of ¥23 billion, citing weaker-than-expected spot advertising sales at TBS Television.
- Ordinary profit guidance was lowered to ¥38 billion, while the forecast for profit attributable to owners of parent was kept at ¥48.5 billion.
