Redwire subsidiary SpaceMD signs SpaceX Starfall mission contract for 2028 launch
Reuters2026/08/06 15:02- Redwire unit Space Microgravity Development (SpaceMD) signed a contract to fly its first commercial mission on SpaceX’s Starfall spacecraft.
- Launch is planned for 2028, with capacity for up to 32 Pharmaceutical In-Space Laboratory (PIL-BOX) units.
- SpaceMD will develop a new PIL-BOX variant tailored to operate across the Starfall spacecraft to scale microgravity pharmaceutical R&D.
