Stolen Bitcoin linked to kidnapping case, three people face 20 years in prison
Bitjie News reported: Bitjie News learned that three men from St. Louis have been charged by federal prosecutors for plotting to attack a residence in Connecticut and forcing the transfer of Bitcoin related to a theft case worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Each of them faces up to 20 years in prison. A grand jury in New Haven has returned a second superseding indictment, according to U.S. Attorney David X. Sullivan, who is in charge of the case.
