Square Enix Q1 FY27 profit attributable to owners more than doubles to JPY 13.24 billion; net sales rise 32.3% to JPY 78.42 billion
Reuters2026/08/10 06:52- Square Enix reported Q1 net sales of JPY 78.42 billion, up 32.3% year on year, while operating income climbed 88.6% to JPY 17.01 billion.
- Ordinary income more than doubled to JPY 18.77 billion, while profit attributable to owners more than doubled to JPY 13.24 billion.
- Digital Entertainment net sales rose 51.8% to JPY 49.96 billion, driven by new titles including “FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH” and growth in catalog sales.
- Full-year forecast was maintained, targeting net sales of JPY 298 billion, operating income of JPY 49 billion, and profit attributable to owners of JPY 31 billion.
