Market research firm Counterpoint has released data showing that in the second quarter of 2026, by shipment volume in the NAND flash memory market, Samsung, SK Hynix, and Yangtze Memory Technologies hold market shares of 25%, 22%, and 14% respectively. This marks the first time Yangtze Memory Technologies has entered the top three by market share. However, by revenue, Yangtze Memory Technologies ranks fifth in the industry, trailing behind Micron and Kioxia. This is because its product portfolio is focused on consumer applications, with a relatively low proportion of high-priced enterprise SSDs for data centers.
