Westgold lifts FY26 gold ore reserves 41% to 4.1 million oz
Reuters2026/08/19 22:51- Westgold reported FY26 Ore Reserves of 57 Mt at 2.22 g/t gold for 4.1 Moz, up 41%.
- Reserve grade rose 15% from 1.93 g/t, supported by about 1.5 Moz of gross additions at a AUD 27/oz conversion cost.
- Total Mineral Resources were 194 Mt at 2.30 g/t for 14.4 Moz, up 8% after adjusting for divested non-core assets.
- Planned FY27 exploration and resource drilling spend of AUD 50 million-AUD 75 million, targeting further resource-to-reserve conversion.
- Group Reserve life held near 10 years at current installed processing capacity.
