UMH Properties Obtains $10.2 Million Fannie Mae Mortgage

07:37 AM EDT, 08/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- UMH Properties (UMH) said Monday it obtained a $10.2 million Fannie Mae mortgage through Wells Fargo Bank (WFC) for one of its housing communities. The 10-year loan carries a fixed interest rate of 6.03% and requires only interest payments, the company said. The real estate investment trust paid off a previous $2.8 million loan on the 267-site property earlier this year to generate $7.4 million in funds, UMH Properties said. The company also said it plans to use the capital to acquire additional properties, build rental homes, and temporarily pay down higher-interest debt.
