In terms of news, on September 2, Meta released Muse Spark 1.3, stating that its performance in programming and agent tasks achieved the company’s “biggest model performance leap to date.” The model was made available to developers on the same day via Muse Code and Meta Model API, with plans to roll it out to Instagram, Facebook, and Meta AI users. In the DeepSWE v1.1 test, the model scored 75.4, with tool call frequency reduced by about 20% and token consumption reduced by about 25%.
