Nvidia Expands Local AI Push With RTX Spark PCs, New Tools

04:37 AM EDT, 09/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia's (NVDA) RTX platform is gaining new tools to simplify local AI agent deployment, improve inference performance and expand access to on-device AI computing, the company said Thursday. Simplified local model support is coming to Hermes Agent, OpenClaw and Perplexity Portable Computer on Windows, while its Nvidia Personal AI Router, or PAIR, can distribute AI inference across compatible PCs on a local network, the company said. RTX Spark Windows PCs are expected to arrive in October, with new systems from Lenovo and Acer. The PCs feature an RTX Blackwell GPU, up to 128 gigabytes of unified memory and a 20-core Grace CPU, the company said. Nvidia shares were up 0.9% in premarket activity Friday.
