SoundHound AI Completes LivePerson Acquisition; Names John Collins Finance Chief

09:55 AM EDT, 09/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- SoundHound AI (SOUN) said Friday it has completed its acquisition of LivePerson (LPSN) and appointed John Collins as chief financial officer of the combined company. Collins has previously served as founder, CFO, COO and interim CEO at LivePerson. The acquisition combined LivePerson's enterprise digital messaging platform with SoundHound's voice agentic AI technology.
