International oil prices surged in the short term as reports indicate that a Saudi Aramco refinery in Jazan was attacked.
WTI crude oil rose by $0.59 per barrel within 5 minutes to $92.19 per barrel; Brent crude oil rose by $0.62 per barrel within 5 minutes to $97.38 per barrel. It was reported that Saudi Aramco's refinery in Jizan was attacked.
