Sources: Cathie Wood's Ark Invest may become the first asset management firm exempted by the SEC for tokenized securities, insiders say
According to Odaily, Andy, host of The Rollup podcast, posted on X: "We have received fairly reliable information that 'Cathie Wood' (Cathie Wood)'s ARK Invest will be among the first asset management firms to launch tokenized securities via a transfer agent, under the U.S. SEC's 'Innovation Exemption' policy. The plan will start with Ark’s own funds and then further expand. Several other institutions, such as Fidelity and WisdomTree, are also likely to follow."
