ASML builds new campus in the Netherlands, with the first phase targeted for completion by 2029

According to reports, ASML began construction on a major new project on Tuesday, with the production campus located in the Netherlands, as it strives to keep up with the surging demand driven by the artificial intelligence boom. This investment will ultimately provide room for up to 20,000 additional workers. The first phase aims to be completed by 2029 and will add office space, logistics facilities, and a so-called cleanroom—a controlled environment used for manufacturing specialized equipment. ASML stated that the design of a new “flexible factory” will make it possible to build and assemble its giant chip printing tools faster and more efficiently.
