Strategy doubles preferred stock repurchase authorization to $2 billion
Strategy on Monday reported that its Bitcoin holdings remained unchanged at approximately 845,050 BTC as of Sept. 7, as the company made no Bitcoin purchases or sales and did not sell shares through its ATM program between Aug. 31 and Sept. 7.
The company also disclosed increasing the authorization for its digital credit securities repurchase program from $1 billion to $2 billion. During the same period, the company repurchased 1.81 million STRC shares for $176.3 million, funded with USD Cash.
Strategy ended the period with $5.1 billion in its USD Reserve and about $1.4 billion in USD Cash. It had $1.19 billion remaining for preferred stock repurchases and another $1 billion available under its MSTR repurchase program.
