Shen Yu Reflects on ZEC's History: Mine Struck by Lightning on Launch Night, Never Held Again
On September 8, Shen Yu, co-founder and CEO of Cobo, expressed on social media, "I truly have a shadow over ZEC. When Zcash launched its mainnet in 2016, an exchange set the price cap at 10 BTC. Shortly after mining began on the first night, the transformer at the GPU mining farm was struck by lightning. Since then, ZEC has never appeared in my personal wallet again."
