Group 1 Automotive Prices $1.25 Billion Senior Notes Offering

05:42 PM EDT, 09/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Group 1 Automotive (GPI) reported late Tuesday the pricing of its $625 million of 6.250% senior unsecured notes due 2032 and $625 million of 6.625% senior unsecured notes due 2035. The offering is expected to close on Sept. 22, the company said. The firm said it plans to use the net proceeds to help finance the acquisition of some dealership assets and related real estate from Hennessy Automobile Companies.
