BJ's Wholesale Club Gets $240 Million Benefit From Litigation Settlement

06:02 PM EDT, 09/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BJ's Wholesale Club (BJ) said Tuesday in a filing that it reached a settlement last week to resolve litigation over credit card interchange fees in which it was a plaintiff. The settlement will result in a one-time pre-tax benefit of around $240 million, net of associated legal fees, which the company expects to reflect in its fiscal Q3 results. Shares of BJ's Wholesale Club were up 2% in after-hours trading.
