8 Reasons Why People Think $10,000 XRP Price Is Possible
A $10,000 XRP valuation remains one of the most debated long-term price projections in the XRP community. As some investors dismiss it as unrealistic, others believe broader adoption could make it happen eventually.
Crypto Investor Coach Chad has highlighted the debate in a tweet, sharing a video from Crypto Sensei that examines the arguments behind the $10,000 XRP projection and the possibility of major institutional positioning.
Chad Highlights the $10,000 XRP Debate
Crypto Investor Coach Chad framed his post around eight reasons people are discussing a potential $10,000 XRP. While he acknowledged that some market participants consider the price completely impossible, others believe XRP could reach a substantially different valuation if it becomes deeply integrated into global payments, institutional liquidity, tokenized assets, and a larger digital-asset economy.
The video shared focuses heavily on the potential behavior of large XRP holders and the possibility of significant sell orders appearing at much lower levels than the $10,000 projection.
Crypto Sensei introduced a clip in which a commentator claimed that large XRP holders on Coinbase had placed sell orders worth tens and hundreds of millions of dollars across the upper $20 range through approximately $32. The commentator interpreted those orders as potential evidence that wealthy investors expect XRP to reach those levels.
He also referenced previous XRP community posts pointing to prices around $32 and $33. According to the commentator, these levels could be reached because some retail holders might sell after XRP reaches prices that they previously considered unrealistic.
Video Raises Questions About Potential Selling Pressure
The commentator explained that a rapid move toward the low-$30 range could encourage some XRP holders to take profits if the asset subsequently declines. He suggested that investors should consider their longer-term expectations before making decisions based solely on a sharp price increase.
The video also connected the $10,000 projection to historical comments attributed to XRP Ledger developers David Schwartz and Arthur Britto. The commentator claimed that they had previously discussed a $10,000 figure in relation to XRP needing sufficient value to function efficiently at large scale.
However, the video presented these claims as part of a broader investment thesis rather than as a confirmed forecast. The discussion also included speculation that larger holders could benefit from acquiring XRP from retail investors at substantially lower prices if the asset eventually reached much higher valuations.
Long-Term Adoption Remains Central to the Argument
Chad’s post ultimately presents the $10,000 XRP discussion as a question of future utility and adoption. The thesis depends on XRP becoming significantly more integrated into global payments, institutional markets, tokenized assets, and broader digital-asset infrastructure.
For now, $10,000 remains a highly speculative long-term target rather than an established market expectation.
